Each course is delivered through live weekly Zoom sessions, where learners can:

All programmes follow a structured learning pathway and offer the option to gain an NOCN-accredited certificate upon successful completion.

Weekend Online Dressmaking Course - 24 Weeks

Live Online | Practical | NOCN Accredited

This 24-week live online dressmaking course is a comprehensive programme designed for beginners and those who want to develop strong, practical sewing and garment-making skills.

Delivered through live weekly Zoom sessions, the course provides structured, step-by-step teaching, allowing learners to build confidence at a steady and supportive pace. Each session focuses on practical demonstrations, guided learning, and real-time questions, with time allocated for learners to practise independently between sessions.

What you will learn:

  • Confident use of a sewing machine

  • Taking accurate body measurements

  • Seams, necklines, pleats, gathers, flares

  • How to fix different types of zips and buttonholes

  • Understanding and drafting your own bodice block

  • Fabric selection and cutting techniques

  • Garment construction and assembly

  • Essential finishing techniques

  • Developing confidence to work independently

How the course works:

  • Live weekly sessions on Zoom (Saturdays)

  • 90 minutes of live teaching per session

  • Real-time demonstrations and guided instruction

  • Opportunity to ask questions during each session

  • Practice tasks and independent work between classes

  • Supportive, small-group learning environment

  • Option to gain an NOCN-accredited certificate on completion

  • Saturday Session: 6 pm to 7:30 pm UK time
