There are many ways to get involved with Skilled Hands. Whether you want to volunteer your time, share your skills, support our workshops, or contribute to community impact, your involvement helps create meaningful change for women and young people.

Volunteer with Skilled Hands Organisation

Every little bit counts. Our volunteers play an important role in supporting workshops, events, administration, and community engagement. Volunteering with Skilled Hands is an opportunity to be part of a creative, supportive environment while helping others build confidence, skills, and pathways to opportunity.

Volunteers may support us with:

• Assisting during craft workshops and events

• Supporting children and young people in after-school sessions

• Helping with event set-up, exhibitions, and community showcases

• Administrative or organisational support

• Marketing, social media, photography, or communications

• Sharing professional or creative skills

(Roles are flexible and based on availability and interest.)

Who Can Get Involved

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, including students, creatives, professionals, retirees, and community members. No previous experience is required for many roles — just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to support others.
